Metal 3D printed parts often do not meet the requirements for surface quality, especially with regard to surface roughness. It is therefore often necessary to finish the workpieces in this respect. Therefore, a benchmark study is conducted  to evaluate the influence of different finishing processes on 3D printed metal parts in regards to fatigue- & tensile-performance.
